Speaking to CNN-IBN, Gadkari said, "It is a Congress strategy to defame the RSS. They are making false cases against Indresh ji...he dedicated his life for the country. I know him from the last 25 years. It is under the pressure of the Congress that the CBI is doing such things."
The BJP president, speaking at the national executive meet, talked about the "double standards" of the UPA (United Progressive Alliance) government in dealing with terrorism, while expressing concern over the Maoist problem and Bangladeshi infiltration issue.
"Whenever the Congress is mired in corruption cases or scams they raise the bogey of Hindu terrorism by linking the RSS (Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh) and others. For us terrorism has no religion," BJP said.
