Chief metropolitan magistrate Vinod Yadav asked the Delhi police to give the accused, who is facing a life term in the assassination case of Punjab chief minister Beant Singh, the documents as he could not come to stand trial in the Capital due to his pending cases in Punjab.

The court fixed November 22 as date for scrutiny of documents. Hawara was brought to Delhi from a jail in Chandigarh on October 25.
