The GoM meet will also be attended by Environment Minister Jairam Ramesh who will present his points on the issue.

There is still a huge stock of toxic waste lying around the leak site, which is affecting the water, soil and air of the area.

The GoM, which met twice on Saturday, reportedly agreed with Attorney General GE Vahanvati's view that a curative petition should be filed against the 1996 Supreme Court verdict diluting charges.

The GoM is expected to take a final view on Monday and ready its report for the Prime Minister.
