Govt offers help for Husain's burial in India if family wants

The Government today said it is ready to extend all help for burial of MF Husain, who died in London, in India in case his family wants so.

The Government on Thursday said it is ready to extend all help for burial of MF Husain, who died in London, in India in case his family wants so.

"Government has offered all facilitation to the family of MF Husain in case they want to bury him in India," PMO sources said.

Husain, who passed away in London early on Thursday morning, has been living outside the country for several years because of threats from fundamentalists who have been upset with the character of his paintings.
