A large number of cases for sanction of building plans are pending before the Municipal Corporation of Delhi for want of certificate from the Delhi government, MCD Standing Committee Chairman Ram Kishan Singhal said.

He urged Chief Minister Sheila Dikshit to ensure expeditious issuance of NoCs to industries in DSIIDC’s Narela, Bawana, Patparganj, Okhla and other industrial areas.

Singhal said if the industries are issued NoCs in time, it will facilitate industrial activity in Delhi as a large number of applicants are waiting to build new units or to extend their existing structures.

He assured that the MCD will sanction building plans as soon as NoCs are received.
