The Centre says it will foil all attempts of terrorists to spread panic in the country and bring perpetrators of the Delhi serial explosions to justice.

"The terrorists are trying to spread fear and terror among people across the country through their evil designs. We will not allow them to succeed in it," Union Home Minister Shivraj Patil said addressing a function on the occasion of 'Hindi Divas' here.

Patil said the government was taking all possible measures to check the activities of the terrorists and bring perpetrators of yesterday's serial blasts in Delhi, which claimed 21 lives so far, to justice.

"A thorough probe will be conducted and those guilty will be punished according to the law," he said.

Expressing his sympathy to the victims of the blasts, the Home Minister said adequate compensation and necessary help would be provided to the family members of those who were killed and injured in the terror incidents.
