I did not have sociology as a subject in class 12th.Can I opt for sociology honours

Is there any deduction in percentage while opting for this subject, as I did not have this subject in boards?

Q: I had science in 12th(medical with math). I failed in physics theory but I am declared pass as I had fine arts as an additional subject. I have got 64% marks and I am inclined to take B.A. English honours. Kindly guide me regarding the other course I can take up and can I apply for a course in B.Sc?

Ans: Since you have failed in Physics, You will not be eligible for any Sciences Hons. Courses, but you can opt English Hons.

Ans: You should apply for Sociology, Economics hons.there is no deduction of marks for Sociology Hons but Eco (Hons) few colleges are deducting marks 2 to 5% in total for not including math in the Best four.
