Lall, 41, made her statement before Special Judge A S Yadav in a case lodged against the principal, accused of demanding money from students for attesting CBSE forms for class X and XII.
Just to bring out the extent of the corruption, the complainant got attested an examination form, pasted on which was a picture of the model who was shot dead in 1999.
Lall testified that she had identified the picture of her sister which was pasted on a CBSE form in the name of Asha when it was produced before her by the investigating officer (IO) in the case.
"I told the IO that the application form was having photograph of my deceased sister Jessica, who had died in 1999. I told the IO that there was no question of my sister filing the application form of CBSE board as she died in 1999," she deposed.
She was testifying in the trial against Kailash Chand Nirmal who was accused of demanding and accepting Rs 100 from students for attesting CBSE forms for class X and XII examinations as principal of Sarvodaya Bal Vidyalaya of Vikaspuri.
Lall's statement was important for the prosecution to prove its charge against Nirmal as he was alleged to have attested the forms containing the pictures of even dead persons.
Nirmal has been charged by the court with various offences under the Prevention of Corruption Act on March 29, 2006. A complaint was lodged with the Anti-Corruption Bureau on July 25, 2002.
In order to expose corrupt malpractices, she got several exam forms attested from the accused having pictures of dead persons with fake addresses.
