Kasab's confession surprises his lawyer

Ajmal Kasab's lawyer Abbas Kazmi on Monday expressed surprise and shock over the Pakistani gunman pleading guilty to his role in the 26/11 strikes before a court.

Ajmal Kasab's lawyer Abbas Kazmi on Monday expressed surprise and shock over the Pakistani gunman pleading guilty to his role in the 26/11 strikes before a court.

"I was not aware of Kasab's decision to confess until today. It has shocked and surprised me," Kazmi said.

Kazmi was appointed by special judge M L Tahilyani to appear for Kasab in April.
