Talking to mediapersons outside the Arthur Road Jail, after meeting Aseem, he said, "We demand that the government drop all charges levelled against Aseem Trivedi by Friday. If it fails to do so, from Saturday, IAC members will launch a protest outside the Arthur Road Jail".

Kejriwal said 'Jo Koile Ki Chori Kare, woh Desh Bhakt, aur Jo Bhastrachar ke Khilaf Cartoon banaye, woh deshdrohi,'

Trivedi was arrested last Saturday by the police and was sent to police custody. But, under pressure from all corners, the police went on the backfoot and surrendered it's custody to the court yesterday. Thereafter, he was sent to judicial custody till September 24.

Trivedi has refused to apply for bail and said he will not leave the jail till the charges of sedition against him are dropped. A local court has sent him to the Arthur Road Jail for 14 days.

Trivedi's supporters allege that he is being targeted by the government for supporting the anti-corruption movement, championed by Anna Hazare and Kejriwal.
