"The sky will generally be clear and days ahead will be bright and sunny," an official of the India Meteorological Department (IMD) said.

The minimum temperature was 24.2 degrees Celsius, three notches above average. The maximum temperature is expected to be around 34 degrees.

The maximum and minimum humidity oscillated between 93 and 49 percent, the official said.
