Certain parts of Delhi witnessed long outages on Wednesday afternoon, after some power plants supplying power to the Capital were producing less power.

“There was low frequency supply in certain parts of Delhi that lead to load-shedding across the city in the afternoon, especially in west Delhi,” said a power department official.

Power plants in Dadri-I and Jhajjar produced less power due to technical snags. Parts of east Delhi were also affected.
