Man killed, wife, lover held

A 35-year-old woman, Savita, and her paramour Mahendra Singh, 25, were arrested for allegedly having electrocuted her husband, Jitendra Singh, to death. HT reports.

A 35-year-old woman, Savita, and her paramour Mahendra Singh, 25, were arrested for allegedly having electrocuted her husband, Jitendra Singh, to death.

Police said, Savita had been subjected to domestic violence and couldn't stand it any more.

Both Savita and Mahendra have confessed to the crime. They allegedly killed Jitendra after he caught them in a compromising situation on the night of May 14, police said. Both were produced before a court and later sent to judicial custody on charges of murder.
