The Congress on Friday brought back Abhishek Manu Singhvi as one of the leaders to participate in discussions on television.

“He has been brought back into the panel of leaders who participate in the electronic media,” general secretary and head of party’s media department Janardan Dwivedi said.

Singhvi had resigned as the party spokesperson and chairman of a parliamentary committee on law, justice personnel and grievances in April over the circulation of CDs that allegedly featured him.

He had also stepped down as a member of the party’s panel of spokespersons.
