MCD wants free passes for members

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has decided to write to the Organising Committee (OC), requesting complimentary tickets for its councillors to witness the Games.

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has decided to write to the Organising Committee (OC), requesting complimentary tickets for its councillors to witness the Games.

They have also expressed the desire to have a dedicated ticket counter at the MCD headquarters for councilors, who can act as facilitators for selling the tickets to the public.

Following a demand made by the councillors, MCD commissioner K.S. Mehra assured them that he will write a letter to the OC, requesting passes.

Standing Committee chairman Yogender Chandolia has asked the MCD to take up the matter with OC Chairman Suresh Kalmadi.
