"Some stations are likely to have specialised medical counters which will be able to provide immediate medical help to patients in emergency cases," said Raj Kumar, director (operations) of Delhi Metro Rail Corporation. He said the DMRC is in the process of finalising talks with two hospitals to open such counters where treatment and medicines will be made available.
Some of the Metro stations where such counters are likely to be opened include Rajiv Chowk, Kashmere Gate, Patel Nagar and Central Secretariat, among others, said sources.
