Metro schedule to be affected on Republic Day

Delhi Metro has announced that Metro movement will be partially curtailed on Thursday (Republic Day) and Sunday (Beating Retreat Ceremony) as part of the security arrangements. HT reports.

Delhi Metro has announced that Metro movement will be partially curtailed on Thursday (Republic Day) and Sunday (Beating Retreat Ceremony) as part of the security arrangements.

While the Metro will start at 6am, some stations including Rajiv Chowk, Central Secretariat, Patel Chowk, Udyog Bhawan, Race Course, Barakhamba Road, Mandi House, Pragati Maidan and Khan Market stations will be closed till 12.30pm. On Sunday, services on Line 2 (Gurgaon- Jahangirpuri) and line 6 (Central Secretariat - Badarpur) lines will be curtailed from 3pm to 6.30pm.
