Metro services to begin early on poll day
On April 15, polling day, Delhi Metro has decided to start Metro service an hour before its usual time.

On April 15, polling day, Delhi Metro has decided to start Metro service an hour before its usual time.
Train services will begin at 5am instead of 6am on most lines, while on some lines services will begin even before.
“Keeping voters’ convenience in mind, we have decided to run trains with a frequency of 15minutes on all the six lines till 6am. After this trains will run on their normal frequency throughout the day,” said Anuj Dayal, spokesperson, Delhi Metro Rail Corporation (DMRC).
Metro services will shut down as per the normal schedule at night, clarified DMRC officials.
