The protest has been organised by the Haryana-based Gwala Samiti. “The protest is against companies which buy milk from us at Rs 18-20 and sell adulterated milk in the market at a much higher price of Rs 38-40,” said Om Prakash, a member of the Gwala Samiti.
The group will sit in protest at Jantar Mantar from 10am to 6pm against the pricing policy, in order to urge the government to compensate for a supposed loss of Rs 6 lakh crore.
