Briefing reporters after the 90-minute meet, Human Resource Development (HRD) Minister Kapil Sibal said the panel discussed all the aspects threadbare.

"We have decided we will meet again very soon," Sibal said.

Considering the demand by some political parties that caste should be included in the census, the government had formed the GoM headed by Finance Minister Pranab Mukherjee.

Law Minister M. Veerappa Moily, New and Renewable Energy Minister Farooq Abdullah, Social Justice and Empowerment Minister Mukul Wasnik and Railway Minister Mamata Banerjee are the other members of the GoM.
