A mob clashed with the police at Moti Nagar in west Delhi after a 12-year-old boy was found dead at a factory a day ago.
Police said that Adil, a ragpicker, had gone to a factory along his brother Abid on Monday night. When Adil did not come out for an hour, his brother went inside and found him dead. Adil was reportedly electrocuted and
The police was called and the body was sent for postmortem.
On Tuesday evening after the postmortem was done, relatives of the boy shouted slogans against police inaction. The family alleged the boy was murdered and the police was not taking any action.
A mob gathered outside the factory and tried to storm it. Policemen were rushed to the spot to control the situation.
Agitators clashed with the police and pelted stones at them. A constable was injured. Police said they were investigating the case and were recording the statement of the boy’s brother.
