Singh was on duty on the Oct-ober 3 Sharjah-Lucknow–Delhi flight that Arora commanded.

“The allegations of sexually-coloured behaviour by Capt Ranbir Arora were baseless and appeared to be made by Ms Komal Singh as an afterthought, as planned and rehearsed strategy,” the committee said.

Singh had lodged an FIR against the pilot alleging molestation in the cockpit.

An airline official said Singh’s allegation “is a case of provocation as she neither mentioned inappropriate behaviour in the internal report, didn’t discuss it with colleagues and neither did she de-board at Lucknow and file a police complaint”.
