"Around 86% of the executives said their organisations were not employee-friendly. Around 29 percent said their organisation culture was performance oriented, while 20% said that the culture was customer focused," the pan-India survey conducted among 200 senior level executives by Executive Access said.
The survey spanned across various IT firms and other corporates.
"Post the 2008 recession, most companies have become cautious and bottom-line focused. Investors and other stakeholders are increasingly putting pressure on organisations to perform," the managing director of Executive Access, Ronesh Puri, said.
"Hence, it is imperative for organisations to mould their culture towards performance and productivity," Puri added.
