The rains eluded the capital yet again with Delhi residents witnessing another hot and muggy day Saturday.

The maximum temperature was recorded at 34 degrees Celsius, a notch below average, while the minimum temperature settled at 27.9 degrees Celsius, one notch above average. No rain was recorded between 8.30am and 5.30pm and the humidity remained between a high of 85% and a low of 63%.
"A total of 138.8 mm rainfall has been recorded so far this season which is 39 percent less than the average,” said a Met Department official. “The sky will be partly cloudy on Sunday and there is a possibility of lightning later in the day,” he added.
