“We have now written to the Commissioner of Railway Safety to inspect the line. Once we get his clearance, we will open the section for public,” a senior Delhi Metro rail Corporation (DMRC) official said. DMRC officials said efforts were being made to get necessary statutory safety clearances at the earliest and open the line in the month of March itself.
The 15.10-kilometre Inderlok-Mundka line will be the first standard gauge metro sections to become operational.
