The NDA will meet Wednesday evening to seal the alliance’s strategy for the crucial session.

The party looks at the VVIP chopper deal scam as a key issue in this session.

Top party leaders led by BJP chief Rajnath Singh will protest against Home Minister Sushil Shinde’s Hindutva terror remarks at Jantar Mantar on Wednesday morning and will then try to move to the Prime Minister’s residence to protest.

"BJP has taken a serious view of the remarks made by Shinde. We have demanded that he should apologise…,” party chief spokesperson Ravi Shankar Prasad said after the BJP meet.

The BJP will also take up rising inflation and hiked bulk diesel prices.

The party is also expected to take up the issue of drought in Andhra Pradesh, Maharashtra and Karnataka, and the damage to farmers from the recent hailstorm in north India.
