The move has come a day after the blast victims met chief minister Sheila Dikshit and expressed concern over inadequate compensation and their uncertain future, and demanded rehabilitation rather than compensation. “The cell will look into all such concerns with humanistic approach and will try to provide feasible solution,” Dikshit said. She has also instructed the deputy commissioner of the revenue department, who is also the nodal officer, to consider and decide every case sympathetically, keeping in view the gravity of incident.

Dikshit visited the RML Hospital where victims of bomb blast incident are being treated. She individually met fourteen victims who are under treatment.

Once discharged from the RML hospital, the victims will be provided further medical assistance at the nearest city government, she added.
