No relief from gruelling heat for Delhiites

Delhiites sweated it out under a sizzling high of 42.6 degree Celsius on Saturday, the second time in three days that the mercury reached the season's peak.

The maximum temperature was four notches above normal, registering a jump of 1.5 degrees from Friday.

The minimum was 27.5 degree Celsius, half a degree down from yesterday but three degrees above normal, the Met office said in New Delhi.

On Thursday too, the mercury had climbed to 42.6 degree Celsius.

The Weatherman has predicted a clear sky for Sunday with the maximum temperature hovering around 42 degrees.
