A media management meeting called by the Congress on Friday turned out to be a damp squib with only few leaders attending it.

Apart from the spokespersons, invitations were also sent to the 19-member panel, comprising of Union minister and senior leaders.
The meeting assumed significance as it came in the backdrop of a series of scams ahead of the budget session. It was called to deliberate on ways to project the party's image in a better way.
Chaired by party general secretary and media department chief Janardan Dwivedi, it was attended by minister of state for parliamentary affairs Ashwini Kumar, spokespersons Manish Tewari and Mohan Prakash and senior leaders Girija Vyas and Rajiv Shukla.
