Singh’s name appears in the latest list of nine candidates announced by AAP on Tuesday as party’s candidates designated to fight assembly elections from different constituencies.
AAP’s Hari Nagar candidate is Jagdeep Singh, from a victim family of the 1984 anti-Sikh riots. East Delhi Municipal Corporation’s independent councillor Vinod Kumar Binni has been finalised as the candidate from Laxmi Nagar.
“It is the only ward in Delhi where work is undertaken after residents decide about it in mohalla sabhas,” an AAP statement said.
The other names include Farhana Anjum (Ballimaran), Devi Dayal alias Pappu Murtiwale (Gokulpur), Kapil Mishra (Karawal Nagar), Baljeet Singh Maan (Narela), Dinesh Mohania (Sangam Vihar) and Rajani (Timarpur),.
With this list, the AAP tally of final candidates has reached 29.
