“Vrindavan and Mathura figure at top of the list of the cities to be connected with the Capital by helicopter services, keeping in view the high potential of religious tourism in the twin cities,” the state-owned operator said in a statement.

A team of Pawan Hans recently visited the cities and held discussion on the helipad sites, security, passengers facilitation with the administration.

“Pawan Hans would soon hold discussions with the UP government for the necessary support,” it said, adding, “Muzaffarnagar, Meerut, Mathura and Agra too are being considered to be connected with Delhi. A feasibility study of these cities are being planned.”

The services will not only provide seamless air connectivity to Delhi but also help in medical emergencies.
