Plea for FIR against minister
A transparency activist on Thursday moved a Delhi court seeking registration of an FIR against the Delhi transport minister, transport commissioner and others, alleging that the December 16 gang rape had occurred due to their "corrupt activities".

A transparency activist on Thursday moved a Delhi court seeking registration of an FIR against the Delhi transport minister, transport commissioner and others, alleging that the December 16 gangrape had occurred due to their "corrupt activities".
RTI activist Vivek Garg said the bus was allowed to ply in the city despite it being unfit for the same and was impounded on many occasions last year.
He sought directions to the police's crime branch to register an FIR against the transport minister and others for allegedly committing offences of corruption and cheating.
