PM hosts lunch for Tony Blair, Chidambaram present

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today hosted a lunch for former British Prime Minister Tony Blair at his residence which was attended by two Ministers, including Home Minister P Chidambaram, and a few other personalities.

Prime Minister Manmohan Singh today hosted a lunch for former British Prime Minister Tony Blair at his residence which was attended by two Ministers, including Home Minister P Chidambaram, and a few other personalities.

Among others present at the lunch were Information and Broadcasting Minister Ambika Soni, National Security Adviser Shivshankar Menon, the Prime Minister's former Special Envoys Shyam Saran and Chinmaya R Gharekhan and British High Commissioner to India Sir Richard Stagg, sources said.

Blair is in India in connection with his charity -- Tony Blair Foundation -- which is working to expand its initiatives in school education in the country.
