"The Prime Minister has seen reports in a section of the media that he 'pulled up' the Group of Ministers (GoM) in charge of Commonwealth Games. Such reports are misleading," PM's Media Adviser Harish Khare said.

The Prime Minister appreciates the difficult job the GoM has on its hand and he has been encouraging the ministers and officials concerned to work together extra time to make the games a success, he said.

He was reacting to reports in the media that Singh had pulled up Sports Minister MS Gill and Urban Development Minister S Jaipal Reddy, who is also head of the GoM, on the preparations for the Commonwealth Games.
