Metropolitan Magistrate Sachin Sangwan remanded Dr Kamal Vedi, 34, to judicial custody after the Delhi Police informed the court that investigation in the case was going on.

Vedi was arrested on May 19 from his residence at AIIMS quarters in south Delhi after his wife, Priya Vedi, an anaesthetist at AIIMS, was found dead with her wrist slit at a hotel in Paharganj where she had checked-in after a fight with her husband.
