Another said it looked like a "raid by the Special Cell" even well before the official word was out. The "operation" probably began last night, one bystander said.

Many residents gave running commentaries to various news channels.

A young survivor of last week's blasts, who was barely 50 metres away from the Barkhamaba explosion site, had told a reporter that it appeared to be a "low-intensity" blast.
