‘Puzzle parking’ in Karol Bagh, Paharganj

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has decided to construct two multi-level parking lots in the city, for which work will be awarded by end of the month.

The Municipal Corporation of Delhi (MCD) has decided to construct two multi-level parking lots in the city, for which work will be awarded by end of the month.

“We have received tenders from three companies and now the scrutiny process will begin. Work will be awarded by the end of the month. We are hoping to complete the construction work by June,” said a senior MCD official. Termed ‘puzzle parking’, this is an advanced version of stack parking under which cars can be moved vertically or horizontally with power hydraulic lifts. These parking lots will come up in Karol Bagh and Paharganj.
