In the court of special judge OP Saini, the agency said it is willing to hand the records.
While the CBI agreed to supply transcripts, the judge decided to have an electronic scanner installed in the court premises to scan prosecution documents and distribute the copies among the accused.
CBI prosecutor AK Singh also told the that the agency would supply some additional documents on July 12. The CBI move was in response to the plea of several accused who had told the court on Wednesday that the probe agency did not provide them with the transcripts of Radia’s tapes, despite these being key prosecution documents. They pointed out that Radia was a key witness and she repeatedly referred to her tapped conversations.
