"Rahul Gandhi will hold his first formal meeting with all general secretaries and functionaries of the party on Thursday," a party source told IANS on Wednesday.

The Nehru-Gandhi family scion, after being appointed vice president on January 19, had an informal meeting with general secretaries and senior functionaries of the party on January 23.

He had told the leaders that he would meet them both individually and as a group. The Thursday meeting assumes significance as Gandhi is working to restructure the party ahead of the 2014 general elections.
