Rain, strong winds bring down temperature in Delhi

National capital New Delhi and parts of the extended National Capital region (NCR) were hit by rains and strong winds on Sunday morning, bringing temperatures down a few notches.

The Indian Metrological Department (IMD) had earlier warned of the possibility of rains and cloudy weather over the weekend.

The maximum temperature recorded on Saturday was pegged at 29.2 degrees Celsius, four notches above the season's average. While the minimum temperature was at 12.6 degrees Celsius.
