The expenditure and finance committee of the Delhi Cabinet cleared the proposal in a meeting on Tuesday. More than 25 lakh ration cardholders visit these offices every year.

The committee has also decided to release R11.05 crore for construction of a pucca building for a government school at Khichripur in east Delhi. The work will be completed within 24 months.
