Sahmat, a delhi-based advocacy group on Monday, said the special investigation team has raised many questions over role of Narendra Modi in the 2002 Gujarat riots.

The investigation team has asked the lower court to look into so called evidence against Modi with issuing any specific instructions.

Sahmat said that petition has already been filed in the Ehsan Jaffrey case in the apex court to look into Modi's role in killing of the former Congress MP.
