She locked herself up for 10-14 hours
The feeling that I have topped the Commerce stream in Delhi hasn’t sunk in. It is one of the happiest days of my life,” said Priyanka Bagai, Class XII student of the Convent of Jesus and Mary.
Bagai, who scored 97.6 per cent in the Boards, was all praise for her parents and family for supporting her.
“I have done it for my parents. When I scored 92 per cent in the Class X Boards, they weren’t very happy. They wanted to see my name in the newspapers,” she said.
“I used to lock myself up in a room for 10-14 hours at a stretch to study. I followed this routine for almost 20 days. This helped a lot.”
“I am gathering information about the best colleges in Delhi. I hope to get through SRCC (Sriram College of Commerce), St Stephen’s and the College of Business Studies.”
