Six people killed in five accidents

Six people, including a five-year-old boy and a 70-year-old man, were killed in five different accidents across the city since Thursday evening.

A 28-year-old man was killed after his bike rammed a Delhi Police bus at Shastri park area of northeast Delhi on Friday. The accident occurred when the driver of the bus suddenly applied brakes.

Ranjeet Mishra's family alleged that the bus hit his bike. Mishra was travelling with his brother, who sustained injuries.

In Kanjhawla, a 70-year-old man was crushed to death by unidentified vehicle on Thursday evening. Duli Chand, a resident of Narela was brought dead to the hospital.

The third accident was reported from northeast Delhi's Harsh Vihar where a five-year-old boy was run over by a speeding tractor on Friday afternoon. In another accident, two bikers were crushed to death by a speeding truck on Thursday in Alipur area of outer district. A rickshaw-puller was mowed down in Shastri Park.
