Visibility reduced to 500 meters around 8.30 am, said the Met department.

But hardly any traffic was affected as Sunday was a holiday. At the airport too, no flight were delayed or rescheduled.

“The condition will remain like this for a few days,” said the duty officer at the Met office.

The temperatures have also risen. Sunday’s minimum temperature rose to 16 degrees Celsius from 13 degrees in the past few days. The maximum temperature was 31 degrees Celsius. “A western disturbance is on J&K. Temperature might dip if the winds carry some chill,” said the weatherman.
