They were apprehended on Monday. Police said Anuj Yadav, who is employed with a prominent private insurance company, and Vivek were arrested from Baba Gang Nath Marg near Jawaharlal Nehru University. “Both of them are residents of Sangam Vihar and are involved in several cases of snatching in south Delhi localities,” said a senior police officer.
Police said the duo had snatched a woman’s purse from Defence Colony on March 3 and a mobile phone from a pedestrian in Saket on March 8.
