Soon, more Metro stations will have toilets

Delhi Metro Rail Corporation plans to build more toilets at its stations by December this year, reports Sidhartha Roy.

Travelling in the Delhi Metro may not be a bladder-bursting experience anymore — at least in some of the busier stations. Delhi Metro Rail Corporation plans to build more toilets at its stations by December this year.

To begin with, these toilets would come up at Pragati Maidan, Mandi House, Patel Chowk, Pulbangash, Kanhaiya Nagar, Shastri Nagar, Pratap Nagar and Shastri Park stations. "These toilets would be near the entry and exit points," said DMRC spokesman Anuj Dayal. "The toilets were necessary at these busy stations, especially Pragati Maidan, which would see a huge rush during the upcoming Trade Fair."
