Ryan International School, Vasant Kunj held a special ceremony to honour renowned Australian Fast Pace Bowler Brett Lee who visited the school and interacted with the students.

Ryan International School, Vasant Kunj held a special ceremony to honour renowned Australian Fast Pace Bowler Brett Lee who visited the school and interacted with the students.
After the ceremonious tree plantation, he interacted with the Cricketer Teams of the school.
The students were awe struck as the cricketer gave them valuable tips for techniques of good bowling and batting. The visit indeed inspired and encouraged the students.
Delhi Public School, Vasant Kunj hosted the National Level Inter-DPS Football Tournament under the aegis of the DPS Society.
Seventeen teams were invited from all over the country. Director, Nina Sehgal welcomed the Chief Guest, Ashok Chandra, Chairman, DPS and the Guest of Honour, Melvyn D'souza, former FIFA referee.
Dilbagh Singh, Bronze medal holder, Boxing, XIX Commonwealth Games was the special guest.
A German delegation, as part of a Cultural Exchange Program was also present.
Melvyn D'souza administered the oath and declared the tournament open.
The chief guest for the valedictory function was Dr. Usha Luthra, Chairperson, DPS, Vasant Kunj.
The winners of the tournament was DPS, Panipat followed by the host school.
DAV Forum under the aegis of DAV College Managing Committee organised an in-house conference for the principals of DAV Schools in Delhi and NCR at SRDAV, Dayanand Vihar.
The Symposium commenced with the address by Sheetal Sharma, Secretary, DAV CMC, who raised pertinent questions about the challenges before the Principals of future schools.
Sh. Vishwanath, Sr. Vice President, DAV CMC, beckoned the Principals to walk together, work together, think and share together to keep pace with changes in the society and sustain in the competitive world.
Renu Laroiya, Principal of the host school reiterated that schools of tomorrow must be creative and thinking schools to sustain the interest of the pupil.
Sri Venkateshwar International School, Dwarka celebrated ‘Vivaan’, the 4th Annual Day.
D. Purandeswari, Minister of State, HRD, Govt. of India along with Shri Rajpal, Chairman, Venkateshwar Group of Schools, Sailander Solanki, Chairman, Sri VIS and Nita Arora, Principal lit the ceremonial lamp.
The theme was ‘Élan Vital’, a musical cultural extravaganza celebrating the joys of life that brought almost all the students of primary wing and senior school together on the stage. Ginni, the musical ballet inspired by the book ‘Totto Chan — the Little Girl At the Window’ was presented by young performers of Classes I and II and brought awareness to us that sometimes letting children to do what they want is a good way for them to learn too.
Vishu Gupta was awarded the most prestigious ‘Chairman’s Trophy for Excellence’. Shaunak Narindra was honoured with the ‘Principal’s Award for Leadership’.
