Sreedharan recovering well

Sreedharan, who underwent a six-hour-long beating heart surgery at the Indraprastha Apollo Hospital here on Thursday, is stable and is recovering well, a senior doctor, who was part of the medical team that performed the operation, told PTI.

Sreedharan (77) was admitted to the hospital on Wednesday after he complained of severe chest pain.

His right coronary artery was 100 per cent blocked and the left one too had a blockage.
