“The incident was reported from Richmond School in Paschim Vihar at 4 pm,” said a senior police officer requesting anonymity.

According to police, the incident happened after two students of Class XII fell out after one of them troubled one of the duo’s female classmates.

“The two male students who cannot be identified since they are juveniles, got into a scuffle after one of them allegedly passed lewd remarks against a girl from the same class,” the officer said. Police said one of the two incurred serious injuries on his face when the other attacked him with a blade.

“He has been admitted to the Balaji hospital where he has undergone surgery to remedy his facial injuries; the other was released from a private hospital after being administered first aid,” said the officer.

“Both the juveniles are residents of Paschim Vihar. We are yet to register a case,” said Sharad Aggarwal DCP (west).
